Dorset Squared (D2) is looking for a Programmes Officer based in Dorchester to support the delivery of the Chalk + Cheese & Sowing SEEDS Local Action for Rural Communities Programmes. The post will provide high level technical and administrative support, assist approved projects and support the day to day running of the Programmes. You must be enthusiastic, self motivated and able to work to deadlines. You must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in partnership with local people and businesses. D2 is currently recruiting new board members. We need people who have business or commercial experience and are able to contribute a few hours each month to supporting our work, developing new ideas, and ensuring the proper governance of our activities. Board members are not paid but have the satisfaction of contributing to the development of a thriving economy throughout Dorset. A role description can be found here. £5.9 million Boost for Rural Dorset
D2 in conjunction with Community partnerships throughout Dorset and South West Wiltshire are celebrating the award of a £5.9 million grant for community–led projects.
Managed by D2, the fund will be used to encourage and deliver community led projects that deliver real benefits to the Economic, Environmental, Social & Cultural landscape of Dorset.
